Who is Mardera
Mardera was founded in 2006 by Martijn Derking. Martijn once started as a junior assistant at an accounting firm and grew there to become a senior assistant in both the audit and compilation practice. During that time he visited and supported many companies in many industries, especially various service providers (IT, movers, lawyers, employment agencies), real estate, healthcare and pharmacy, education, manufacturing, wholesale and retail, hospitality and charities. After working there for more than 12 years, Martijn found a new challenge at an investment company that was part of a large North Dutch hospital. There he was allowed to get involved in founding companies, administering and guiding research related companies and guiding start-ups (mainly from the hospital's research and education). He also did many charitable foundations, grant writing and tax projects. After that, Martijn worked for a small pharmaceutical company for several years. In this company pharmaceutical raw materials were produced, development took place and pharmaceutical raw materials were traded in more than 80 countries. In short, Martijn Derking has extensive experience in administrative, fiscal and business economic services.
What does Mardera do
Mardera is a small ambitious firm. We provide administrative services as well as tax services and business consultancy. We are constantly working on innovative ideas to make it as pleasant as possible for you as a client. Mardera not only performs administrations, but also helps you make the administration smarter by looking at how the administrative process can be organized in an efficient way. A small adjustment can already lead to administrative relief. But changing course can also be a solution. Mardera gladly thinks along with you and looks at the possibilities within you and your company. You can then focus on the things you like.
Mardera is a firm that is ‘different’ in a number of ways. Mardera wants to avoid surprises and therefore wants to closely monitor the development of a company. This can be done by focusing on a company's key figures. In practice, the focus often shifts from financial statements to these monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual figures. There is also often a need for relevant management information and a lot of information can be extracted from budgets, budgets and (liquidity) forecasts. Mardera is happy to support you in developing the right management information. We also strive to quickly present up-to-date figures. For this we also look at how we can design the processes to make this possible, without this costing you as an entrepreneur a lot of effort.
Mardera is supported by various professionals. we work together with salary and personnel specialists, tax specialists and accountants, insurance and mortgage brokers. This enables us to look beyond administration.
Our working method
As we indicated in the previous description, Mardera aims to provide business owners with the key figures of their business in a concise manner. To this end, we focus on the most important control information. This information is determined in consultation with you. You can think of turnover development, gross margin per consultant and result per period graphically displayed, but also things like sick leave, number of treatments per type, number of quotations and number of positive outcomes. Periodically we can produce these key figures for you, but we prefer to be helpful with your own internal reports. In discussions, preferably held quarterly, we will discuss these key figures, as well as other matters of concern to you that it would be useful to discuss with your accountant or tax advisor.
